Schools and clubs can receive up to 20 percent of the cost of their 2027 season tickets back to support their initiatives
Sporting Cascades FC has launched a new ticketing program designed to support local high schools and youth soccer clubs, the club announced today.
Under the program, any high school soccer program, youth soccer club, or league that purchases tickets for Sporting Cascades FC’s inaugural season for its staff and members can receive a discount of up to 20 percent on the cost of each season ticket, or receive up to 20 percent back on the cost of each season ticket to fundraise for team or club initiatives.
Schools and clubs that have already signed on to participate include South Eugene High School’s boy’s and girls’ soccer teams, Eugene Metro Football Club, Thurston High School boy’s soccer, and Marist Catholic High School’s girl’s and boy’s soccer teams.
“Eugene Metro Football Club is proud to offer a scholarship program for eligible families to help with club fees,” said Jurgen Ruckaberle, EMFC director of coaching. “We are excited to get support from Sporting Cascades FC, who will return a portion of season tickets to help fund our scholarship program. Many of our EMFC families are excited to watch professional soccer here in town, and they can now support our scholarship program by purchasing a season ticket for Sporting Cascades FC.”
“I am a proud life-long coach, player, parent, and fan of soccer and what it brings to a community,” said Stefan Schroffner, head coach of the Marist girl’s soccer team and a former Lane United FC assistant coach. “Soccer has always been about more than just what happens on the pitch. This fundraising opportunity with Sporting Cascades FC gives our players, families, and friends a chance to come together, support something exciting in our local soccer community while giving back to our program at the same time. We’re excited to be part of something that helps grow the game in our area while directly benefiting our student-athletes.”
